The first step is to download the Coinweb Wallet. Afterward, go to LinkMint.io and log in with the wallet. If you would like to issue your own token, you need to hold a balance of CWEB to pay for the issuing fee of your token.
We aim to make the step into the digital economy easier and more inclusive. Therefore, anyone with a Coinweb Wallet and a balance of CWEB can issue a token through LinkMint. No other sign-ups or registrations are required.
Currently, you can set up blockchain-agnostic tokens through LinkMint. This means that you can choose which chain to embed the tokens in. As blockchain-agnostic L2 tokens, you are not tied to one chain and can change this at any time.
Issuing a token on Coinweb through LinkMint is exactly like issuing a token on any other blockchain protocol. Only your imagination can set boundaries for what is possible. You can issue everything from a meme token to your dApp’s native token.
Gas Fee Abstraction is set by default for a token as long as liquidity has been added through CWEB. This means that the users of your token will not have to hold CWEB in order to transact with it. Gas Fee Abstraction provides a Web2-like UX for users.
If you need help with issuing a token on LinkMint or require further explanation about the technology, the best way to get assistance is to join Coinweb’s Telegram or Discord. The links are provided at the bottom of this page.
