Currently, staking CWEB using the Coinweb wallet is not possible, but this will change with the upcoming mainnet release. This decision aims to avoid accidental unstaking during testing, as sub-accounts are not supported.
Currently, you can store CWEB, wCWEB, STBL, BTC, BCH, ETH, LTC, and any Coinweb-issued token. In the next phase, support will expand to include native tokens of other blockchains connected to Coinweb, along with ERC20 and BEP20 tokens.
We’ve created a user-friendly interface for easy onboarding. In case of any issues, our live customer support team is available to assist with KYC verifications and on/off ramps between cryptocurrencies and fiat.
wCWEB is Coinweb’s ERC20 token, available on various exchanges. Meanwhile, CWEB is our L2 native, blockchain-agnostic token. To receive CWEB from a Metamask or exchange wallet, use the wCWEB address in your Coinweb Wallet.
In the wallet, KYC is necessary for fiat on/off-ramping and exchanges between L1 tokens. Once Coinweb enables decentralised L1 cross-chain swaps, KYC will no longer be required for this functionality.
STBL, pegged to a basket of currencies with a focus on JPY, ensures market accessibility for on/off ramping. Its USD price may fluctuate based on movements in other fiat currencies, without replacing traditional stable tokens.
