Coinweb Expands Connectivity with Tron Integration

Coinweb, the layer-2 blockchain interoperability protocol, has successfully integrated Tron into its cross-chain infrastructure, bringing the total number of connected chains to 11. This milestone reinforces Coinweb’s vision of a unified blockchain ecosystem, enabling seamless interoperability across diverse networks.

Tron’s integration unlocks new possibilities for dApps on Coinweb, allowing developers to leverage its high-throughput, low-cost transactions alongside other major chains like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and their derivatives. By bridging these ecosystems, Coinweb enhances liquidity access and expands the solution space for cross-chain dApp development.

“With Tron now live on Coinweb, we’re proving once again that our platform can unify fundamentally different blockchain architectures,” said Anton, CMO of Coinweb Labs. “This is another step toward increasing usage of Coinweb, where users and developers can interact across chains without compromising security or scalability.”

Unlike traditional bridges, Coinweb’s protocol-level integration enables secure, gas-efficient smart contracts that react to events across all connected chains.

PACT SWAP is the first dApp having gone live with Tron on their cross-chain DEX, enabling swaps with $TRX and $USDT (TRC20) against other currencies including Native Bitcoin.

We are looking forward announcing more chain integrations in the near future.
